Lightweight, with fat rounded tips, and a waist width of 99, Salomon’s QST 99 is an all-mountain ski that has a reputation to crush it in any condition. Topsheet has chipping. Bases and edges are in good shape. Attached are Salomon Warden bindings, compatible with both alpine and gripwalk boot soles “Whether you’re looking for a beefy ski for those late-season touring missions or an everyday hardpack charger, the Salomon QST 99 Skis will provide the stable platform you’ve been searching for. Lightweight Koroyd tips and a hook-free taper design combine for a quick edge-to-edge on snow feel. Toss in a Ti backbone and carbon/flax CFX Superfiber, and you’ve got an all-mountain machine chomping at the bit to tackle wherever your day may take you.”

Perfect skis for:
Skiers looking for a smooth yet powerful ski that will instill confidence on any terrain you come across.

The Salomon QST series is a versatile all-mountain ski. With various shapes and rocker profiles, these skis excel in both on-piste and off-piste conditions. Carbon Powered C/FX technology enhances dampening and power, while full ABS sidewalls and Powerframe Ti ensure edge grip and stability.

I’ve tried out a number of skis within the Salomon QST family since they were introduced back in 2016. There’s a huge number of different models out there, but they all share a few common features: namely, ease of control and maneuverability across a variety of conditions and terrain types. Keep an eye out for QST 106s and later models, as that model is the first to feature a large swathe of updates to improve performance.
