The average ski in our fleet is taken out 20 times / season in British Columbia. Skis are in excellent condition and professionally maintained - All skis have no performance issues. Please feel free to message us if you have any questions or concerns - 10M radius - 160CM - 3-10 DIN range // The Power X7 is at that curious cross-over point between piste and all mountain skis - with a 77mm waist there are, in fact, piste skis available that are narrower. Despite this fact, this is essentially a ski for intermediates who mostly stay on groomed slopes, but might think about tackling moguls and possibly venturing off-piste on the odd occasion. The lightweight and easy to handle Power X7 performed more or less equally both on and off-piste; the performance was never stunning, but it was effective and reliable and at just £350 for the ski and binding set up you're getting a pretty good deal. The X7 does feel quick and nimble in both long and short radius turns, especially on the groomers, although it did become a little skittery when pushed hard, but in short radius, and especially in lower speed turns it was fun to ride. There's an early rise tip rocker, meaning that initiation into the turn is easier in all terrain - the rocker, originally designed to help extra floatation in powder snow has become the ubiquitous tool for most recreational skis as manufacturers discovered the benefits of a tip that wants to make turning on groomed slopes a joy. So, if you're in search of a good value ski that will take you all over the mountain, but with a leaning towards the piste, the Power X7 is certainly a serious contender.
