The 2021 Elan Ripstick 96 is widely regarded as one of the most versatile all-mountain skis ever built, offering a perfect balance of flotation for the deep stuff and grip for the hardpack. Utilizing Elan's patented Amphibio technology, these skis feature a dedicated left and right design that places more material over the inside edges for stability while keeping the outside edges lightweight and rockered for easy pivoting. At 96mm underfoot, it is the ideal "daily driver" for the Western skier or a great powder-day option for those in the East. The carbon rod construction provides a lively, snappy feel that absorbs vibrations without the punishing weight of metal, making it easy on the legs for all-day sessions. Condition: Top Sheet Condition 7.5 This top sheet condition may have some chips along the edges that will not need repaired. There may be moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. The ski may have some epoxy repairs to the edges of the ski. There is no compromising damage to the ski’s top sheet. Base Condition 8.0 This base condition may have lots of minor scratches or scuffs. They may have some substantial scratching or scrape that may need P-TEX to be fully repaired along with a tune; however, are still ready to use with no base welds needed. These may show signs of having a major P-TEX or base weld repair but these repairs are in good shape and ready to use. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
