Nearly brand new setup here! Truly only about 4-5 ski days on them. The Blaze 114 is an underrated ski - big enough to be a legit powder setup, but strong enough to hold an edge on firm snow and groomers. It’s got enough sidecut and camber to generally good manners and top end power when carving turns on hard packed laps. Burly enough to handle bottomless days. But it’s not a punishing ski, so it’s easy to have fun in chop, bumps, and trees. The length is a lot more manageable than you might think - don’t be discouraged by the relatively big stated size. I’ve been moving down a size to n most of my skis as I’ve lost weight and gotten older. But this is one ski in never intimidated to hop on and have fun! The Shifts are the top of the line S/Lab hybrid touring binding - really cool looking, and an awesome setup whether you’re 80/20 or 20/80 with your mix of lift serviced and human powered skiing. They were originally mounted for Atomic Hawx XTD boots in 29.5 shell size. Since then, I’ve moved down to 28.5 boots, and they adjusted fine to the 324 mm boot sole length with no need for a remount. I don’t know if they would handle 27.5 shell boots though - probably not. Condition is nearly perfect. There are a few minor scuffs in the bases from my last trip out on them, but nothing major - just superficial scratches. I will be happy to give these a fresh hot wax and buff them out prior to shipping to their new owner. Last - a few options: 1. if you are interested in buying these with no bindings, let me know - I could be talked into that. 2. If you need climbing skins and/or adjustable length touring poles, let me know about that too. I could be talked into packaging a set of nearly new G3 Minimist skins that are cut to fit these. They are NOT included in this advertised sell price, and would be an additional cost. Unless someone twists my arm into a “package deal,” I’ll be happy to keep them for use with a different pair of skis in my collection.
