The 2026 Salomon QST 94 is part of the fourth generation of the QST line, which underwent its most significant redesign to date for the 2025/2026 season. It replaces the outgoing QST 92 and is designed as a versatile "quiver-killer" that bridges the gap between on-piste precision and off-piste float. Key 2026 Technical Specifications Dimensions: 133-94-119 mm at 172 cm length. Turning Radius: 15.5 m at 172 cm length; 16.5 m at 180 cm length. Core Construction: Full Poplar wood core with a basalt mat underfoot for increased torsional rigidity and dampening. Profile: Freeride profile with 20% tip rocker, camber underfoot, and 16% tail rocker. Weight: Approximately 1810 grams per ski at 180 cm. Major Updates for 2026 Structural Material Change: Salomon replaced the previous Carbon/Flax (C/FX) construction with a full-length basalt and fiberglass weave. This change is intended to provide a more uniform flex, better edge hold, and a more "planted" feel without significantly increasing weight. Directional Tail Shape: The 2026 model features a more directional, squared-off tail with less taper and rocker than wider models in the line, emphasizing its ability to carve shorter arcs. Cork Damplifier 2.0: A new horseshoe-shaped cork layup extends further into the sidewalls of the tip and tail, improving vibration absorption and allowing the basalt stringers to extend further for more energy. Reinforcement: Includes a titanal (Ti) binding reinforcement plate underfoot for maximum power transfer and hard snow edging.
