The mad scientists at Rossignol brought in elements from both the retired Soul and current Sender series to create a ski that rips, plain and simple. That was the consensus from our testers after taking it from Vail Mountains frontside groomers to the leftover pow of the back bowls. A 102-mm underfoot, semi-twin shape is the Goldilocks zone for the aggressive freeride-oriented skier searching for their daily driver.Youll find Rossignols Air Tip at the front of the ski. The honeycomb design creates a lighter-feeling tip and a beautiful balance in the ski that mitigates swing weight and delivers an easy-driving turn in deeper snow. Underfoot, youll find what Rossignol calls Line Control Technology (LCT): a metal rail, sandwiched by two rubber sheets, that runs vertically through the skis core for better control and stability without the weight of a full Titanal sheet. A bit of a flatter tail, compared to the Sender Free 110, lends more stability and confidence to the ski when laying down a carve.Rossignol did the universe an absolute favor by creating this beauty, said our tester.
