I used these boots for a dozen tours and enjoyed them for the long days (extremely comfortable with a solid walk mode) but in the crummy skied-out conditions I felt that they had too much forward flex for me. I have talked to a few people with much more knowledge about ski boots than myself and they informed me that Scarpa's new design was to remove the so called "Scarpa wall". While I enjoyed these boots and found they had many advantages over the previous model I found that I liked my old boots more. The liners have been heat molded and there is some scuffing on the inside ankle, but besides that they are in perfect condition. I know that many people have enjoyed these boots, but they didn't work for me and I hope that someone out there will enjoy them.
