Up for sale is a Mini Goalie stick made by Inglasco for older WCHL/ECHL San Diego Gulls organization. Measures 20 inches from top to front of blade. Graphics on one side and official ECHL hologram. New never used.
The Gulls were the dominant team throughout the WCHL's eight-year existence, winning the regular season championship five times. The Gulls also won five of the league's Taylor Cup championships. No other WCHL team won the Taylor Cup more than once. In 2003, the WCHL was absorbed by the ECHL, formerly known as the East Coast Hockey League. This mini hockey stick is from the Gulls ECHL days.
This is the 3rd iteration of a team with the name San Diego Gulls. The current AHL Gulls team affiliated with the NHL Anaheim Ducks is the 5th iteration.
