Shaft is perfect for younger player or a player who wants to have a fast stick. For a carbon shaft, less weight will inevitably decrease strength to an extent. That said, this is a high quality shaft. If my player were under 14, I would not be concerned about using this shaft. If he was a really big guy and laying massive checks.
