True 3D Printed T-Guard Black Tongues Senior Size 7, 8, 9

For sale is a like-new True 3D printed tongue. True released these toward the end of 2024 as a custom option in their SVH skate. There are some retailers who are also selling it as a standalone option for $150. If you're familiar with CCM's Tacks X helmet or Adidas 4D shoes, these tongues may seem familiar. They are 3D printed with a lattice structure that allows them to conform to your foot unlike any other tongue in history. The lattice structure also allows for maximum airflow helping to keep your feet cool on ice or roller. The material itself does not retain water so it will not get heavier the longer you play. On the front you'll notice a large panel in the center which is a harder 3D printed material and helps prevent lace bite. Like all True tongues, this has velcro allowing it to be adjusted to your liking and swapped into any True boot. These fit a size 7-9 skate. From True: "A 3D-printed design with optimized geometries provides superior breathability and elite-level protection. It offers an extremely lightweight construction and does not retain sweat or moisture like traditional tongues. It has a firm center to prevent lacebite while soft edges ensure a contouring fit." I used these tongues a handful of times, but prefer a thinner tongue that does not take up as much volume. I could have rebaked my skates, but didn't want to bother.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.
