Up for sale is my pair of fully custom CCM SuperTacks AS1 skates! Here's your chance to have pro-stock skates, because CCM accidentally messed up on my size!
Here's the story with these skates. I'm an official who has some foot problems, so I decided to drop the cash of fully custom skates, so I ordered these. Unfortunately, CCM made a mistake on my size. However, being that CCM has great customer service, the remade the skates for me, so these are now available for YOU!
Although I call them "used," it's only because I baked them once, skated on them twice and realized the fit issue immediately. They initially had a pair of Tuuk Edge holders on them (which is what I used to skate on them with), but I them pulled off and put the brand new CCM holders and steel on. Basically, you'd be getting brand new holders, steel and a pair of totally custom skates that have only been on the ice twice. Good luck finding this deal anywhere else.
Here's the specs on these skates.
-Left skate is a 7.5 regular width
-Right skate is a 7 3/4 regular width
-Liner is gray Clarino memory foam (Waaaaaay more comfortable than retail padding)
-Retail height boot
-Retail stiffness boot
-Reinforced eyelets, so you don't have to keep replacing them
-High ankle padding
-Comfort foam padding on the inside of the toe cap (This is very nice)
-Pro felt tongue that is much more comfortable than its retail counterpart
So, how do you know if this boot will fit? Here's my recommendation, if you've tried on the retail versions of the AS1s or even the original SuperTacks (AS1 predecessor).
-If you wear a regular width, these will work
-If you prefer a 7.5 D (regular width) retail version of these skates, they will work
-If you like the boot volume of the retail model, these have slightly more volume, but are close to retail volume
-Obviously, if you wear a left skate size of 7.5 and a right of 7 3/4, they'll work perfectly
As an aside, they will come with the basic CCM insoles that are new and never used. Also, the box that the skates will come in says, "Size 8." This is not the accurate size, the sizing on the actually boots is the size. I don't want you to worry that the size is different than I'm describing.
Lastly, these skates are priced to sell, so if you're looking for the best CCM skate made and want one that's more comfortable than the retail versions, take advantage of CCM's mistake and buy these skates!
