Used skates, my son split time between goalie and skater before going full time goalie near the end of the season. Used but well taken care of, lots of life left in these.

The top-level pro-Vapors might last you three years, whereas these might last one and a half two years, but it's the same kind of comfort. It just comes down to your abilities.
