Men's Extra Large Senior Jofa 8800 Shoulder Pads Pro Stock (Used)

The last of the OG Jofa 8800 Pro Issued shoulder pads that were made in Sweden. Later Jofa was bought by Reebok and the production moved from Sweden to China. The Jofa 8800 were the top of the line with extra padding on the bicep and on the side torso below the armpit. And of course plenty of protection top of the shoulders, shoulder cap, chest, and back. These pads were made to sculpt to player’s body while giving the player natural mobility and agility. The Jofa 8800 were rebranded Reebok 7K Pro. From google search “the Reebok 7K pro shoulder pads are essentially the same as the Jofa 8800 model because Reebok acquired Jofa and continued producing the same pro-level pads under the Reebok brand. These are pro-stock models, not the retail versions, and they are highly protective but also heavier than modern pads. The Reebok 7K is the direct successor to the Jofa 8800 in the "pro" line of equipment” The size is 44”-48”, I say that makes it XL/XXL. I got them thinking they would size sillier as my XL CCM FT6, unfortunately the Jofa 8800’s run much bigger compared to the FT6 pads. If you are big defensemen or Big Center with at least 44” chest then these will probably be a good fit. I measure 42” in the chest and they are too big for me. The previous owner had the elastic straps tied in knots in effort to shorten the straps. I untied them and yes the elastic straps are stretched out and need to be shortened. The Velcro is still solid. There are plenty of Jofa pro stock pads out there. However there are not many that are Made In Sweden and that are still in good condition for their age.
