CCM uses a front flex motion construction with a EVA foam base jacket in the Tacks AS 580 model, offering an anatomical fit with a lightweight and reliable design. This base jacket also provides a solid level of comfort and mobility. For enhanced shoulder coverage, the Tacks AS 580 features molded JDP injected shoulder caps for elite level coverage to safeguard from impacts or falls. CCM also places focus on protecting some key areas of the body. Molded mid density EVA foam is used in the kidney, while the floating sternum and hybrid shield spine use vent-tech for added breathability and enhanced protection. For more customized protection, CCM includes an adjustable and removable belly and lower back pad. For comfort, a sublimated comfort liner is used, designed for maximum air flow and mobility. This liner keeps the pads light while you stay cool and dry throughout the game.
