This exclusive D3O Foam is also used in the calf guard behind the exposed molded plastic construction and on the lower shin shell to cover all key impact areas. With compression molded HD foam on the knee wing and thigh guard, the AS-V Pro is built top to bottom with a 39.4% protection improvement over the Super Tacks AS1 Shin Guard!
Unique to the AS-V Pro Shin Guard is the AdaptFit design in two key areas. The first is the length-adjustable calf strap, helping players dial in their fit no matter their calf size. The second is a height-adjustable liner, providing a custom fit based on whether a player wears their shin guard over or under the skate tongue. Players can raise the lower portion of the liner when worn over the skate tongue, or lower the liner when wearing the shin guard underneath the skate tongue. This not only improves comfort but eliminates gaps in protection!
