The Warrior Alpha DX Shin Guard is for the elite-level hockey player or anyone wanting some of the best protection on the market. The calf and thigh guard feature Warrior's new DX Shell construction, which is a uniquely textured compressed EVA foam that cuts down weight but maintains elite level impact protection. The calf guard is then backed up by a hard injected plastic insert to offer some of the best protection against high and low energy impacts that happen throughout the game. The ribbed shell is vented for increased airflow while being suspended away from the liner to reduce energy from impacts reaching the leg. Internally, players can find comfort and a close-to-the-body fit with Warrior's premium WarTech FnC liner and Sling Wrap strapping system. The WarTech FnC liner has been bathed with Polygiene Technology to impede odor-causing bacteria from forming and wick away moisture throughout the game. The Sling Wrap has been designed in a Y-shape and uses a soft neoprene material that securely holds the knee to the knee cap while the 2" calf strap finishes locking down the lower leg.
