They have two small holes as pictured which can be sewn up or patched but shouldn’t impact protection. This model has Easton’s Y-strap system so you have two options of where to attach the center straps. You can attach it to the velcro directly across like a traditional elbow pad or you can fasten the center straps to the velcro on the forearm straps. The C7.0 elbow pads are made of two primary pieces, over the bicep and forearm. The bicep protection features segmented foam with hard PE inserts to offer resistance to any slashes or hits. The forearm features a similar construction to the C9.0 above it. The padding is is a contoured PE plastic with molded HD foam. THis both absorbs and disperses energy, working to keep as much harmful shock away from your elbow as possible. The caps are a traditional, ventilated PE plastic. The hard cap disperses impacts around your elbow. Easton uses their Y-Strap system to ensure that the C7.0 stays in place, minimizing the chance of injury. Easton included a moisture wicking liner in this elbow pad, helping you stay dry and light for longer.
