Bauer then boosted thigh guard construction for better impact management and made them removable for easier access to the shell for custom embroidery. Speaking of shell, Bauer improved its durability by using 840D nylon and strategic stretch gussets through the rear panels. Built into this upgraded shell is a classic 1” extension fit and zippered leg openings for a dialed-in fit.
