Bauer Vapor 1x boot on Marsblades chasis with heat moldable custom speed plates. Only skated on 2-3 times. 1x skate is the previous model top of the line skate before the new release of the 2x pro. Retail price was $1000 USD. Marsblades retail price is $159 USD not including costs to install on a boot. 1x skate description The Bauer Vapor 1X skate will still be constructed using the ultra-lightweight Curv® composite material, which reduces the overall weight of the skate while keeping the durability, strength, and support that players are used to with the top end skates. The X-rib pattern will continue the heel and ankle lock design to keep the skaters foot in place for quicker crossovers and tighter turns. The top of the 1X skate will also feature Bauer’s Comfort Edge padding, which alleviates high ankle abrasions that can happen with a stiffer boot. New designs on the Bauer Vapor 1X skate further the locking features to make the 1X feel like an extension of your foot. The Vapor 1X boot will still keep its tapered fit, with its narrow heel and standard toe, but with a redesigned quarter panel. Next, the ankle of the skate will be moving from the older fit to a new asymmetrical fit. These design changes on the Vapor 1X will better align the skate with the player’s natural ankle position. Adding more to the inside ankle of the Vapor 1x skate not only makes the skate fit better and more comfortably, but give more for the skater more push off on. Marsblades description The Marsblade Roller Frame gives you the same feel and agile movements you get from the radius shaped ice hockey blade. This maximizes your on-ice endurance, speed and strength by training your hockey specific muscles off the ice. The Marsblade Roller Frame increases your stride power and efficiency by challenging your balance and activating your stabilizer muscles. This also reduces the risk of injury as it prepares ice hockey specific muscle groups and fine-tunes your on-ice movements. The Marsblade Roller Frame challenges you to use proper shooting and stickhandling techniques in your off-ice training. This helps you to master all the movements in the stabilizing chain of muscles and joints to improve your accuracy, control and power. Speed plates description Bauer Speed Plates will come standard with the 1X skates. The Speed Plates are moldable foot beds that will help remove the dead space from inside the skate and provide the best fit available.
