The cup is a plastic exterior with foam backing. There are ventilation holes and this design has been used by NHL players for the last 25 years.
The design also allows the removal of all straps for washing or replacement. The cup is in like new condition, there is some cosmetic marking on the plastic external and the interior is like new. There is a brand new waist band and leg strap elastic along with the laces on it.
The sizing is adjusted by moving the strap inwards or outwards and securing with the laces. This model has been discontinued long ago and unlike the current models based on this design it can be disassembled and fully sanitized.
