The True Shift Runners come with a dual profile, 9' on the front and 10' on the heel to help maximize blade contact with the ice. This profile enhances agility, acceleration and stability for turns. They have a height of 18mm. The blades have only been sharpened 2X and were recently sharpened with a 3/8” Z-channel hollow ($15). A Z-channel is basically a thin gutter cut down center of the hollow to reduce drag. If you have never tried a Z-channel cut, you will be amazed how much farther you can glide w each stride. That translates into a longer and more efficient stride. It’s well worth the $15 sharpening cost. Orig. $79
