These are rare Phoenix RoadRunners game-worn knit socks when they played in the ECHL from 2005-09 before folding. They shared an arena with the NBA's Phoenix Suns and played a few home games wearing purple jerseys that looked like Suns jerseys. These are the socks that went with the jerseys. They are size large with a tag sjowing they were made by Projoy Sportswear of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. No player numbers are written on the socks, which show moderate overall use. The tribute jerseys were later auctioned and most of the game socks were thrown away with only handful of pairs known to exist. This is one of them.
