New Senior Vaughn Pro Elite Goalie Stick 28" Details Made in Canada, the Vaughn Pro Elite goal stick is constructed with top-quality materials, beginning with a urethane foam core paddle construction reinforced with full carbon/fiberglass laminates on both the front and back of the paddle for added stiffness and durability. The result is a ‘hard-lam’ structure, similar to that found on other high-end foam core sticks. The shaft is constructed of a pro aspen wood core with carbon and birch veneer laminates, producing an ideal combination of stiffness and durability. Unique to the Pro Elite, the blade is high temperature molded with special epoxy resin for exceptional strength and rigidity. Additional hard laminate composite inserts are added to the front and back of the blade for increased durability and to limit blade flex while shooting. An ABS heel insert has been bonded to the foam core to prevent the heel from splitting. Used by pros across the NHL, the Vaughn Pro Elite goal stick offers a great combination of both strength and durability in a lightweight package for the goalie preferring a traditional foam core construction.
