Yes, the holder was switched to white - I personally disliked the full black look.
I've invested alot of time into trying to make these work - not molded, as they felt great, however switched to while holder (while keeping highest level steel), have extensions for buckles (included these and stock buckles, so you have a free backup!!), 3hrs of public skating is ALL that these have gone through.
I've been in full custom skates since college, and just can't bring myself to switch to these.
