Skates were only used for a 1/2 season and can be heat molded as much as needed. The HF2’s feature the same unique buckle strapping system from the original Konekts. Bauer has tweaked the design based on feedback from both amateur goalies and their NHL players to improve the durability and ease of using the design. The back of the skate features Bauer’s HingeFlex system. This design allows the ankle and top of the foot to flex up to 22 degrees forward to keep the skate in contact with the foot and leg when leaning forward in your stance. What does this mean for you?
