The same cowlingless design that made the 1S famous is back on the 2S Pro, but with some upgrades and changes that make this skate one of the best on the market Starting with the cowlingless design, the Supreme 2S Pro goalie skate continues the success of ditching that bulky unnecessary cowling for the vertexx edge goalie holder combined with a reinforced goalie specific toe cap. Now that this design of goal skate has been on the market for 2 years it has been tried and tested it has proven to be exactly what today’s goaltender would want for a skate. The Supreme 2S pro skate is extremely lightweight and allows for an aggressive attack angle for stronger pushes at steeper angles. Improving even further on that attack angle this year is the LS5G runners that come on the Supreme 2S Pro skates. The LS5G runners are carbon coated to provide a better edge for longer, and on the 2S Pro skates are taller to provide the best possible attack angle that today’s goaltender needs. The fit of the Supreme 2S Pro goalie skate has been improved to provide the best possible feel and reaction in the crease. The asymmetrical shoulder design is combined with the new carbon Curv composite construction to provide the best possible balance of support and flexibility. The new heel lock design on the Supreme 2S Pro goalie skate uses an anatomical fit combined with the Lock-Fit Pro liner to keep your heel locked in tight and allow you to move quicker on pushes. Additional features on the Supreme 2S Pro goal skates include a 3-piece asymmetrical recoil tongue, designed to provide extra support to the inside of the skate while giving more freedom of movement to the outside, as well as a larger Lundqvist loop on the heel to accommodate all different types of bootstraps.
