The A5 shell is designed with various types of weights of hand laid Fiberglass with full Kevlar reinforcements to bring the goalie ultimate protection. The interior of the mask is finished with a final layer of fiberglass to bring a solid level of protection to the goalie. All of the layers throughout the mask are bonded with epoxy resin to bring all of the layers together in the best way possible. Finishing off the outer shell, the mask is finished off with a high quality, dual stage process to provide a glass like finish. The interior of the A5 mask includes black die cut neoprene foam which gives the goalie a comfortable fit across the head all while having a sleek “hidden” look with the black foam interior. For the harness on the mask, the A5 will come with 1 inch wide black elastic in an “open” harness which gives the goalie a clean look across the back and easy adjustment at all 5 connections points. On the A5, the stainless steel cage will feature a Certified Straight bar cage giving the goalie good protection. Attaching the cage to the shell, Coveted uses premium stainless steel hardware for the best durability to fight sweat and corrosion. The A5 mask has a relaxed, straight style chin drop with soft-raised top ridges, which help reduce impact from pucks hitting the top of the head. A5 Senior masks come in both sizes Large and X-large. The recommended size range for the Large mask is for goalies that have a forehead circumference between 21.25 inches through 22.625 inches. XL models are recommended to fit a forehead circumference between 22.625 through 23.25 inches.
