This is what it isn’t: a super new, still certified, NHL-ready goalie mask. What it is: An extra large, extra wide, structurally sound goalie mask for a beer leaguer who’s tired of their old bucket. If your hat size is larger than a 7 1/4 (mine is 7 3/8), the crown will fit. Other dimensions include: - 6” wide straight across the sweatband area - 5 1/2” wide straight across the cheek area - About 4 1/2” wide straight across the jaw. If you’re like me, you know how hard it is to get a mask these days for a fair price…. and a fat face. Yes, foam is discolored. Yes, I had to carve out a spot for my pointy head (I bought it off someone with a flatter head who got it custom fit). And yes, it has been gone over with several Lysol wipes.
