The shell on the Bauer C1 mask is constructed from ultra lightweight carbon fiber, reinforced with TeXtreme® exterior. TeXtreme® is an ultra lightweight strong carbon fiber weighing 20 percent less than conventional carbon without sacrificing strength. The outer edge of the Concept C1 goalie helmet is reinforced with an extra layer of carbon adding to the overall strength as well as reduces chipping. Special attention to the shell shape increases strength and helps divert the pucks energy on impact for increased safety. Various ventilation wholes throughout the mask reduces weight and allows plenty of air flow, keeping you cooler during the game.
