Piggybacking off the design of the highly successful 2015 and 2013 line, CCM has made improvements to keep the most modern, protective technology in the mask. The shell of the helmet is constructed using glass fiber materials. This design offers elite protection with a lightweight feel. Inside the helmet, the 1.9 Goalie Mask features CCM’s Triple Density VN liner with I.Q.SHION foam. This foam provides a comfortable feel and secure fit while still absorbing the force of impacts. One of the more innovative advancements in the 2017 model is the optimized peripheral vision design.
