A more rigid knee stack enhances the seal to the ice in the butterfly and improves rebound redirection. The thinner thigh rise allows for better pad overlap and increased reactivity when transitioning between standing and butterfly positions. Improved knee stack rigidity, combined with the stiffer thigh rise, provides greater stability and allows for more pressure on top of the pads in the butterfly, further optimizing ice seal and performance.
