Vaughn has successfully combined the flex and freedom of the butterfly style with updated coverage, rebound control, and comfort. The knee blocks are snug, and leg and ankle coverage is complete without sacrificing movement. The 'skate tunnel' design keeps the pads positioned correctly on the ice while allowing for quick movements across the crease. I recommend replacing the Velcro knee strap on used sets, as they lose elasticity over time.
