Phoenix Coyotes Mark Visentin game-used Vaughn catcher+blocker set from 2013-14 rookie year

This is a game-used catcher and blocker of Phoenix Coyotes rookie goalie Mark Visentin, who was the team's first-round draft pick in 2010. He used this set with the AHL's Portland Pirates in 2013-14 and also when he made his NHL debut in April 2014 in a 3-2 loss to San Jose. They are Vaughn items and show heavy overall use and are photo-matched with his nickname of VIZZER embroidered on the backhand sides. Visentin suffered an ankle injury in preseason training camp in September 2014 and missed the entire 2014-15 season. He signed a free-agent contract with AHL Rockford but suffered another ankle injury that required season-ending surgery. He bounced around the AHL, ECHL and Europe before retiring in 2018. This catcher/blocker set was obtained directly from the Coyotes.
