Bauer Vapor X2.7 Jr Catch Glove & Blocker | Navy Starting off with the face of the Bauer Vapor X2.7 Junior, the graphic is made up of three main zones with one that covers the cuff area, the next travels diagonally across the palm, and finally one at the fingers portion. Two sets of “spears” streak across the thumb and fingers areas for added design along with a digitally printed design on the top and bottom zones that provides visual design. Moving on to the build of the X2.7 Junior, a one piece cuff design gives a naturally large appearance for better visual presentation the shooter. On the pocket and closure, a 60 degree closure angle allows the goaltender’s hand to sit higher in the glove and give a full hand closure that feels better than ever right out of the box. An all new max depth pocket with an offset single T has been added to provide the goaltender with a larger catching surface that will swallow shots in to the pocket. Inside of the palm, the glove is lined with nylon for comfort to provide a good grip for the goaltender On the backhand of the Vapor X2.7, a Free-Flex cuff is implemented to give the goalie a wide range of motion to help project their glove towards the shooter. A new fast strap has been added for quick wrist adjustments to give the goalie the secure feel they need. Inside the fingers area, an adjustable strap sits over top to help create the preferred fit and feel for each goaltender. Looking at the face of the Bauer Vapor X2.7 Junior, you will notice the one piece board shape design with a defined top angle made of HD foam to help direct rebounds to corners and give the goaltender time to recover. Wrapping around to the inner sidewall, the Vapor X2.7 is designed with strategic cuts to create a solid blocking surface with a lightweight design. Flipping around to the palm side of the X2.7 Junior blocker, a central hand position has been used to give the feeling of making saves in the middle of the backhand for precise blocking placement. The palm itself uses ivory nash material that creates a comfortable grip on to the goaltender’s stick. Internally, the palm features a nylon moisture-wicking liner that helps keep the goalie’s hands dry during usage. Finally, on the cuff of the Vapor X2.7 Junior blocker, Aerolite has been used to create a protective cuff that allows for a wide range of motion to help goalie’s project their hand toward the shooter and create better angles for redirecting pucks in to corners.
