First, they did away with the stitching, seams. and designs on the face of their pads, and the new digitally printed graphic results in a more detailed, and more importantly cleaner finish. Aesthetics aside, this provides more predictable and durable pads across the board. The inclusion of their Poron XRD Foam is another big plus for the supreme line this year. The foam is dependent on the reaction of urethane molecules when stressed at a high rate, or impacted quickly. When this happens, the urethane molecules temporarily "freeze" forming a protective shell that has conformed to your body. So all that added protection in the palm will make glove saves more comfortable , but how about more frequent? Bauer's One Piece Free Flex Cuff allows for maximum movement without sacrificing protection.
