You're looking at a brand new Vaughn Velocity VE8 Pro goalie chest and arm protector. This chest comes in Senior size XL. (Please see the size chart below) There are two Vaughn senior chest protector options, the Ventus SLR and the Velocity VE8 Pro. Although both are top notch quality but there are differences between the two units. The Ventus SLR has a slightly larger look and feel to it, especially in the shoulder area. The Velocity VE8 is a very flexible and tapered unit that contours more to the goalies shoulders and body. The Ventus SLR increases the width in the shoulder area making the goalie larger in this area. For a goalie that may consider themselves more of a hybrid goalie, we suggest the Velocity VE8 chest protector and for the goalie that considers themselves to be more of a blocking or butterfly goalie, we would recommend the Ventus SLR.
