*This holder needs a new back plate to function at it's best. Price at Blademaster is roughly $60. If you have someone that can grind the back plate flat, this holder would work like a charm again. This is the biggest issue with the holder. As is, it sharpens one edge slightly higher than the other.
*A new gliding pad was installed on the bottom just a couple weeks ago.
