Description

For sale are a pair of pro stock Warrior QRL gloves in senior size 14". These originally came from the Calgary Flames organization and were made for Travis Hamonic during his time with the team from 2017-2020. The gloves were then sent to Custom Pro Repair (CPR) in Quebec who were known to be the best customizers in the world doing most pro custom specs and repairs. Unfortunately, Pat and Ken have since retired which makes their modified gloves even more sought after. The quality of their work surpasses any of the factories the big brands use. When CPR got ahold of the gloves, they turned the Axy flex cuff into a shorter, fixed cuff. The palms were replaced using red Nash and a Kovy style overlay using black dragon material. Nash material is more durable and better feeling compared to AX Suede most companies use today. The dragon material offers similar grip like digital palms, but is much more hard wearing. CPR also replaced the gussets with a thicker stretch mesh material while reducing the height of them by approximately 1/4". This creates a slightly snugger feeling on your fingers so they're not swimming and bunched up at the ends. Standard flex thumbs and Warrior's FNC backhand liner remain. Thumb loops are in tact. Exterior shells are in nearly perfect condition including around the edges of the fingers/padding as shown in the photos. I do want to point out that on the cuff there is a sticker with my initials. Behind the sticker was originally Hamonic's embroidered last name. The last name was unstitched although there is slight remnants from where it was. The sticker covers that up and you could do the same with your own custom name bar or just leave it as-is. Gloves have been laundered and there are no smells or odors. Palm material is supple and not crispy or dry. Backhand liners have a slight red tint to them from the gloves being washed, but that doesn't affect anything. The red palms don't rub off on your hands or anything like that. The overall result is what I consider to be an amazing looking glove. The black color goes with countless teams and the red palms offer just enough pop. I'm thinning down my glove collection and as much as these have been my go-to favorites, it's time to find them a new home.
