Callaway Rogue 19° 3 Hybrid Project X Even Flow Stiff Flex About the Item(s): As is the case with Callaway’s new Rogue fairway woods, Rogue hybrids are utilizing Jailbreak Technology, which is a first for Callaway in a hybrid. More specifically, engineers have utilized two steel bars within the clubhead to connect the sole and crown. The result is that the body of the clubhead is stiffened and the clubface can subsequently endure more of the impact load, which maximizes energy transfer and ball speed. The addition of Jailbreak Technology combined with the use of Callaway’s highly successful Face Cup, which is also a ball-speed generating technology, is leading to what the company is calling its most powerful hybrids ever. Callaway is also using an ultra-thin Carpenter 455 steel clubface in the design that along with the Face Cup further maximizes ball speed on center-face strikes but also provides ball speed protection on shots played from the heel or toe or high and low on the face.
