The VXe features a heat treated Cromoly axle for strength, and loose ball bearings. The VXe has adjustable spring tension to make it easier or harder to click into the pedal with the cleat. Additionally, dual-sided pedals make it easier for beginners to clip in to whatever side of the pedal your foot lands on.
