This 30" youth wood flat bat is a great training tool to make sure your hitter's swing is through the ball, and is NOT rolling their wrists.
If a hitter rolls their wrists too early (before or at contact), they will continually ground out or pop out.
This wood training bat is flat on two sides. If a hitter rolls their wrists too soon, the ball will be driven into the ground or pop up. This gives the hitter immediate feedback telling them they need to keep their wrists from rolling too early.
If a hitter is staying through the ball correctly, they will see the ball hit as a line drive (ie: a hit).
Unlike many flat bats, you can hit regular league baseballs or softballs with this training bat.
In addition, these type of bats are hard to find.
