32" Catcher's Mitt, Next Play Series If you are not familiar with Bradley gloves, you need to look them up. Gloves are specifically designed for kid’s smaller hands. As you can see from the picture, I cannot even get my hand in these gloves. The "Next Play" series is their Mid-Range series for the younger kids. Real leather, but soft so it literally only takes 20 minutes to break in a fielding glove in and get it game ready. I bought this glove for my son to use last season, but he kept using his old glove and I just ordered him a custom color glove from Bradley. I have spent a couple hours breaking in this glove and my son did use it a little in practice. In my opinion it is very close to being game ready for you son. As you can see from the last picture, I have kept a softball size wiffle ball with a wrap around it to hold it's shape. If my son had this glove when he was 9, it would have changed the way could receive the pitch. He did not start using a Bradley Catcher's Mitt until he was 10 and it made HUGE difference.
