Nice looking used Cat X. Has a few paint chips but no cracks or rattles. Really good looking bat. Marucci CATX Composite -5 USSSA Baseball Bat: MSBCCPX5 Marucci entered the composite bat world a few years ago with a bang and is looking to make even more noise with the CATX Composite -5 USSSA Baseball Bat! Bat Benefits Cat Bats have dominated the USSSA scene throughout the past decade and Marucci anticipates keeping it that way with the CatX Composite! Although it might seem tough to find any room for improvement from previous models, the CatX Composite includes a few new features that will take your game to the next level! Once again, Marucci has constructed this two-piece composite bat with some of the highest technology in the industry. The barrel is going to be contrived from the MDX Composite design that places the carbon fibers of the barrel in many layers and at many different directions to create a bat that is ultra-responsive! That composite barrel is locked into the composite handle by the OLS (Outer Locking System) Connector Piece. This connection system incorporates a threaded groove that internally locks the barrel and handle together. And then they complete the connection with the external sleeve that puts an extra hold on the connection point. The main difference between the CatX Composite from previous models will be the new S-40 Composite handle. This handle is ~8-10% stiffer than prior Cat bats, which will transfer energy faster from the batter to the ball resulting in unmatched performance! In addition, the CatX Composite includes a new custom-sized handle taper for a more ergonomic fit and improved bat control.

The Marucci CAT X Composite Bat comes in both BBCOR and USSSA versions. It features a stiff S-40 composite handle for a balanced swing, making it ideal for developing hitters. The finely tuned composite barrel offers a large sweet spot for a trampoline effect on well-struck balls, while the outer-locking system reduces vibration for a comfortable feel, helping players focus on their swings.

The CAT X Composite is very, very easy to swing. Not quite as popular as the CF in terms of performance. There are newer Marucci bats out there that are stronger, hotter-performing bats. But it's still a top top-tier bat. It's right up there with the CAT9 composite, but it doesn't get the notoriety because you've got some newer bats on the market with cooler paint jobs.
