It gets high marks for its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and different insulation zones: They've used a combination of goose down in areas where more insulation is required and Primaloft insulation in places more exposed to the elements. The shoulders and upper back have been reinforced for added durability. Thanks to the DWR treatment on the face fabric, the jacket is water repellent and will protect the insulation from water and moisture. The functional fit allows for optimum freedom of movement, and the jacket is so light that you'll hardly notice you're wearing it. The adjustable hood comes complete with elastic binding to keep icy cold winds out. The cuffs are elasticated as well, whilst an internal flap has been to the front zip to prevent cold air getting in through the front.
