Size extra small!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find! See pics for measurements. These are perfect for anyone 5' 2" to 5' 7" of average to medium build. Convertible, ¾ or full-length. These things run large - see pic showing exact dimensions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE ONE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT EVERY SERIOUS SKIER NEEDS Any coach, racer, ski pro or fanatical recreational skier knows this: it can sometimes rain (or dump snow) when you’re on the hill. They also know that this can be the BEST time to SKI! WHY, you ask? Because the mountain is EMPTY!!! WHY is the mountain empty? Because the weather is WET. WHY are all these other people, who invest thousands of dollars in equipment, passes and travel, unwilling to ski when the weather is wet??? BECAUSE they are lacking the SINGLE MOST VALUABLE piece of gear for any skier: a full-length, fully-waterproof, oversized rain shell. WHY, you ask, don’t they have one? I. HAVE. ABSOLUTELY. NO. IDEA. Being an East Coast skier, I break mine out a dozen or so times a year (it’s a no-frills Descente version from the 90’s, but I’ll never let it go). The stares of envy never stop. This season, having proper wet-weather gear will be even more important, since COVID restrictions mean there will be limited space on the slopes, and very limited use of indoor space to dry off. When you have to reserve your hill time in advance, you need to be prepared to stay outside, rain or shine. These jackets are very hard to find. Descente seems to have stopped making theirs. Spyder has a version that sells out early and then doesn’t reappear sometimes for two or more seasons. Artica makes a decent one but they are never in stock. POC sells one for $500 and even that one is impossible to find. But I have never seen one as well-made and full-featured as this. And I have three of them available. THIS rain shell by Head, with the World Cup Rebels race branding, is by far the most technically-advanced, feature-packed version of an on-hill rain shell that I have seen. Here’s what it has: DESIGN: - Adjustable internal length via 8 heavy-duty snaps, which allow ankle or knee-length configuration. - Oversized, over-helmet drawstring hood - Optional drawstring waist - 2-way covered front zipper that can be opened easily from above or below. - Internal button-up construction to shorten the length: - Full-length, with hem slits in front and back to allow full movement - 3/4 length - 2 hand pockets with snap fasteners - Elastic sleeve cuffs - Optimal protection from the durable and water-repellent nylon, and welded seams MATERIAL - 100% nylon, 2.5-layer construction - Welded seams - Microporous breathable liner - Durable water repellant coating - 12,000 mm waterproof rating - Moisture vapor barrier raging of 4,000g / m² / 24h
