I was able to determine by the tagging that matched a 2008 Steve Hammonds hat that this was indeed from that same season. The guy that wore 15 that year? ESCOBAR! I found some photos that confirm his uniform number and this exact style of hat being worn. It’s hard to precisely photomatch hats on a good day, in the MiLB works it’s like looking for an atom in a haystack with the naked eye. Based on evidence based research that did take time, I’m confident that this hat is from 2008 and was worn by Escobar.
