Founded based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, the GIANTS are a Japanese professional baseball team and members of the Nippon Professional Central Baseball League. They are one of two baseball teams based in Tokyo, the other being the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. The Giants have won 22 Japan Series Championships and are the oldest team among the current Japanese professional baseball teams. FUN FACT: The team based their logo and uniform on the New York (now San Francisco) Giants.
