Bauer Supreme 2S Team Hockey Sticks

The Bauer Supreme 2S Team hockey stick falls into the long lineage of Bauer Supreme sticks known for their powerful shot-oriented design. It inherits the Supreme line's traditional squared-off shaft for a familiar feel and employs a high kick flex profile with Maximum Power Kick technology to enhance energy transfer for booming shots. The stick also features a lightweight Max Balance blade for improved puck control and feel. The Bauer Supreme 2S Team hockey stick offers a balance of affordability and performance for developing players looking to improve their shooting power.

Perfect stick for:
Recreational and competitive players on a budget.

Key features include:

Traditional Feel: Features a square-cornered, straight-sided shaft for a familiar, comfortable feel in your hands.
Lightweight Construction:Unidirectional carbon fiber in the shaft, reducing weight while maintaining responsiveness and durability for a price-conscious option.
Max Power KickTechnology:Optimizes energy transfer from the shaft to the blade, maximizing the power you can generate on your shots.
Max Balance Blade:Strategic carbon layering to create a lightweight, well-balanced blade for better puck control and feel.
AeroFoam I Core:This insert within the blade dampens vibrations and enhances puck feel, allowing for better control when receiving passes or making plays.
High Flex Point:Caters to power shooters who prefer to load up the stick for powerful slap shots and one-timers.

The Supreme 2S emphasizes powerful shots rather than speedy releases with its high kick point while the Jetspeed FT4 Pro offers a balance between power and quick release with a mid-kick point. The Super Novium also has a mid-kick point, however, it leans slightly lower, tending more toward quick releases than pure power. The Super Novium is the lightest of the three at 330 grams, while the Jetspeed FT4 Pro comes in at 380 grams, and the Supreme 2S clocks in at 450. Overall, the Jetspeed FT4 Pro caters to players looking for a balance between powerful shots and quick releases while the Super Novium puts a heavier emphasis on quick releases.

Progression of the Bauer Supreme 2S Team

The Bauer Supreme 2S Team Hockey Stick was preceded by the Supreme 1S Team. The 2S introduced several upgrades over its predecessor:

-

Shaft material: The 1S Team uses TeXtreme carbon fiber, known for its durability but adding some weight. The 2S Team utilizes UD (unidirectional) carbon fiber, which is lighter and offers a more responsive feel on shots and passes.

Blade weight: The 2S Team incorporates a new Max Balance blade technology, making it lighter than the 1S Team blade. This translates to better maneuverability and quicker puck handling.

Blade feel:The 2S Team blade boasts a softer construction compared to the 1S Team, thanks to the new AeroFoam I core. This provides a more enhanced puck feel and control.

Kick point: While the 1S and 2S both have a high kick point, the 2S Team refines the kick point for a more efficient transfer of energy from the stick to the puck.

👍 Pros
My slapshots now have so much power and I can pick corners very easily.
Amazing stick, best stick comfort and design that I’ve ever used.
Very light and shoots like a cannon, it is by far my favorite stick.
👎 Cons
The blade broke twice in the same place, I had to switch brands.
Stick broken in 14 days, got a new one and it broke 7 days later.
No durability, feels too light in my hands. I need something with some heft.
The 2S Team is built to make the higher kickpoint design of the Bauer Supreme family available in a more affordable design, which can be commonly issued out and bought in large quantities. Hence the name team. The 2S Team is for high school, college, or club teams that need to buy in bulk (to get the performance of the Supreme 2S Pro stick at a lower price point). This stick is a bit heavier because it does not utilize top-end materials, but it's still a great option for high-level performance.
