Great power and flexibility
The Proto-R is great. I love it. One of my favorite sticks ever!
Incredible twig at a fantastic price!
This stick lives up to all the reviews I read prior to purchase. It's light, responsive and looks good too! I mostly play defense and this stick works well for taking longer shots and strong for wacking sticks, pucks and players.
Hard shots
Durability seems better than the sticks that have been coming out. Good feel on the stick, hard shots, good release. Expensive, but they all are.

Used it for the first time tonight at 8u practice took a couple shots and it feels great. Stick kicks in the right spots and is very light.

My son love the stick the curve the performance. The weight of the stick was awesome. The cost of the stick was $100 less then box stores
Bauer Proto R Hockey Stick
The Bauer Proto-R is a senior composite hockey stick wrapped in TeXtreme carbon fiber. The wrap adds impact protection across the shaft while keeping the build light. A senior Proto-R weighs 345 grams, with a variance of 10 grams either way. The mid kick point loads energy along the shaft on longer shots. Players who want the quickest release usually go to a low kick stick instead.
