So, it won't flex a little bit lower; it won't flex a little bit higher. It will flex in the same spot, holding the same shape with its warp resistance technology. The throat of the head was made to be as pinched as possible without becoming illegal, so right around that 3” requirement.

The Stallion 1K is the top midfielder head for sure. It's based on the original Stallion design that pro player Kyle Harrison used and designed for that two-way midfielder. The 1K has an improved stiffness, shape retention, and an updated scoop. PLL rookie, Nick Nakeie Montgomery, who ranked 28th in Duke history in career points, also uses this head. I like this head because it can be used both on the offensive side of midfield and the defensive side. It weighs in at about 4.7 oz, making it lighter than the current ECD DNA 2.0, StringKing Mark 2V, and Mark 2T.

You can do a lot with it. And it will continuously hold its shape. The head allows you to define how you want to take a face-off. The Nemesis 3 is the third generation in the Nemesis line. It’s a lighter head (almost 12 ounces) because goalies need to step to the ball and move their hands fast at awkward angles. They made this head a bit stiffer because when you save a harder shot, the head can flex back a little bit. With this model, they wanted to avoid that. It’s meant to be really stiff so that it doesn't flex as much and so the head can take more shots.

One of the main reasons why it’s so popular is because it has one of the widest face shapes compared to the other goalie heads on the market. This larger size helps with just about everything a goalie does: clearing, catching, saving, and passing. Even though it's got the widest area, it's still a very accurate head when strung correctly. There’s an abundance of stringing holes for just about any stringing pattern, and creating a pocket with a great channel is super easy.
